Lone Pine Mechanical has been providing quality automotive repairs and servicing for drivers in the Rockingham and surrounding areas since 2004, and when the opportunity came along to take ownership of this Workshop in 2019, Pierre Koch did not hesitate.

As the current owner, Pierre has a customer focus approach to service. He takes pride in the honest straightforward advice and high standard of workmanship on all repairs provided by well trained, qualified mechanics. As a qualified mechanic and an Authorised Vehicle Examiner (AVE), Pierre believes in a hands-on approach by being involved in everything happening in the Workshop and sharing his passion for his work with his employees who are assets to the business.

Pierre has held several mechanical and leadership positions in the diesel and petrol mechanic field. He possesses over 25 years’ experience, having both workshop and field service experience in Australia and Internationally.

From a very young age, Pierre has been hands-on and curious about how engines work, even taking apart his toy cars! Being mechanically minded and developing a love for cars and motorbikes in his teen years, becoming a mechanic was the logical thing to do. As he gained experience, he realised how important it was to expand his knowledge and putting his expertise to use.

This was what made his career so rewarding.

Having the opportunity to own and run his own workshop in Australia was a dream come true. His commitment to the industry, staff, customers and his family shines through in everything he does.
